A DANCE WITH A CHAIR

We live in a world which is full of words, tools, and artificial structures. We have an idea of what kind of action and attitude is expected towards them. When we engage with them, we unwittingly enter into a choreography: Sitting on a chair makes my body move in a certain way. My body dances with the chair without thinking.

One and Three Chairs by Joseph Kosuth does not contain the choreography of a chair that we share. What we share is not only shape, definition and commodity but the choreography. Thus I extracted the choreography in terms of chair.

This ordinary chair is made for people like me but not especially for me. I want to dance with the chair in ordinary way as a ordinary person. However, I want to keep my freedom from the chair.

I want to be an ordinary person with freedom.
